She needed a promise and $3,000 from God -- He gave her both and she flew to Israel the next day!

“LORD, I BELIEVE BUT I NEED A PROMISE FROM YOU!”

Going to the Promised Land is something most of us Christians dream of. Some may think it’s an impossible dream, but God can make that dream into a reality, just like what He did to one of our sisters in Christ who saw how God kept His promise to her.

It was June of the year 2015, when Sister Rosanna “Rose” Sadogio, IT missionary, and Global intercessor, heard God’s voice during the IT Fellowship. “Enter the Promised Land” the voice was very distinct as Sister Rose heard it. “Which promised land? Lord, are you going to send me to a new land you would promise?” she thought. It never crossed her mind that it would literally be the Promised Land but then it was followed by a specific instruction “enter Israel”. She felt a sudden excitement and nervousness at the same time. She had desired to go to Israel and had prayed for three years for it to happen. Then one day, she received God’s word telling her to go. How ecstatic she must have felt!

“Lord, I need a promise and $3,000 for me to go. Lord, I believe it, but I need a promise from you.” she repeatedly uttered. She continued to believe that God will make a way where there seems to be no way and that He works in ways we cannot see. She set her ‘faith date’ on the 11th of September. She wanted to have her birthday there, and experience the Jewish New Year and the Feast of Tabernacles in September. Months have passed but she hasn’t received anything from God. It was already the month of September but there was still no sign that it would happen anytime soon.

Sister Rose had a Singaporean prayer partner and when she asked about her prayer request, she told her about her trip to Israel. A lot of people have been praying for Sister Rose’s trip as well. September 10, but there was still no miracle. She still didn’t have the $3,000 she needed for her fare. On September 11, it was Tuesday and during the Global Intercessors’ meeting, Sister Rose became silent because she felt embarrassed. But then again, she tried to encourage herself, “Lord, I won’t be the one who would get embarrassed but you because You gave me Your word.” It was 11 pm that day when her Singaporean friend told her that she had booked her flight to Israel already on the following day, September 12 at 7 pm. Everyone was so amazed, especially Sister Rose. Words can’t describe how she felt at that time! She praised the Lord for keeping His promise!

Her Singaporean friend told her that God didn’t make her sleep for days because of His constant reminder. Sister Rose had no idea that even her hotel accommodation for 15 days in Israel had been paid for by her friend. Sister Rose was going to attend the conference in Israel for 15 days and everything has been taken care of. She had already packed her things a week before her faith date so the moment she got her ticket, she directly went to the airport. She didn’t realize she had no extra pocket money because she was so pumped up with God’s miracle.

When she arrived in Israel, she found out that everything at the conference had been paid for and even her accommodation for 15 days. The conference was so huge with 150 nations participating. She also met some famous Christian leaders. Some people she just met at the conference blessed her with monetary gifts because God spoke to them to bless her! It was truly remarkable how God made sure that Sister Rose wouldn't starve and would have everything she needed.

Her supposedly 15-day trip to Israel was extended to 25 days. She didn’t spend any centavo for 25 days in Israel because everything has been prepared by God for her. Her total trip cost $4,500 but it was all provided by God. She didn’t have to pitch in anything, but she just held on to His promise and that was more than enough. God saw her heart and obedience and blessed Sister Rose in her journey. It was one of the most amazing trips she had, and she would never forget God’s faithfulness in her life! Praises to the Almighty God!

God is always faithful in keeping His promises. We should be grateful that our God never backs out from His word. His abundance in our lives never runs out as long as we abide in Him! How wonderful He is!

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
