Because of COVID, their flight was cancelled, but when God stepped in nothing was able to stop them!

Most people draw comfort from Jesus’ point about the power of a faith that is small like the seed. But a larger truth behind this: mustard seeds grow. So, Jesus is not only drawing attention to the small size of these seeds. If you have the smallest or feeblest faith that is genuine, you can do all things. The mustard seed produced the largest of all herbs. If you have increasing, expanding, enlarged faith, growing, and strengthening from small beginnings, you can perform the most difficult undertaking. There is a principle of vitality in the grain of seed stretching forward to great results, which illustrates the nature of faith. Just like Sister Leriz Tancio Principio’s story of faith and how she believed that God could grow her faith into something far greater than what people could comprehend. After Sis Leriz’s first trip to Canada, she came back to the Philippines with an expectant heart, that God’s grand plan in her life is just starting and that nothing could stop what God has started. Her husband who was working abroad for ten years also came home to the Philippines. Sis Leriz received word from God that she and her family will go to Canada. However, to do that, they should have at least 500,000 pesos to support their whole family during their long-term stay there. She and her husband had no source of income, so it sounded so impossible to go. They prayed and believed that if the Lord wills it, then it can’t be stopped by their lack of finances. They don’t know how it would happen, but they continued to trust the Lord. Despite some problems they face, they know that God will deliver them from their dilemmas. Sis Leriz’s mom got sick, and she was admitted to the hospital, but by the grace of God after her treatment, she became better. Soon after that, Sis Leriz’s former company rehired her when they knew she was back from Canada. Now that she has work, a well-known bank called and offered her a loan without any collateral at all. She was approved for half a million pesos, plus her three months’ salary amounting to 250,000 pesos. All of these happened just before the COVID-19 breakout and the lockdown in Metro Manila was imposed. God knew it was going to happen, so He prepared for their daily needs and plane tickets ahead of time. “The Lord has told me that He has prepared a place for me and that’s what He did for my family. It was perfect timing” commented Sis Leriz. Truly, everything was working out well for Sis Leriz and her family. They were ready to leave for Canada on March 8, 2020. However, due to the pandemic, their flight was canceled. They also couldn’t sell their house because of the pandemic but it worked out well for their benefit because they had a place to stay. Some of her friends also contributed to accumulating the money they needed. Praise God for providing such a huge amount of money in a short period and for sustaining them during the three-month lockdown they were in the Philippines! They rescheduled their flight for June 8, but then again, it was canceled. They had to use a lot of money for buying the tickets since a refund was not the option and it was all turned into flight vouchers. However, God had given them enough resources for their tickets, so it wasn’t a problem. They rescheduled for every week, but then it got canceled again. They tried to ask for help from a friend who has a high social status and even the former CEO of an airline company, but no man could help them book a secured flight to Canada. On June 5, Sis Leriz and her family moved to her parent's house. They felt that something was hindering them, so they decided to praise. While praising, Sister Leriz saw a vision. It was June 10, 2020, when she felt confident that they could go to Canada. She saw in her vision horses, and the horse with a white robe stood beside her. “It was the Lord’s horse”, she recalled. “Something was burning in my heart and I could hear Pastor Gani’s declaration on top of his voice ‘We will triumph!’ three times”, she added. On June 11, while having breakfast, with the burning desire in her heart, Sis Leriz declared again “We will triumph!” making her family surprised. Around six in the evening, they went to the Airline Company, and exactly four slots were opened for their flight on June 14. So, the four of them could go; Sis Leriz, her husband, and two sons. There was no human intervention, but it was the Lord who orchestrated everything. They did try using their might at first to book their tickets and failed. However, the moment they set their hearts on God and praised Him, He moved everything around them to show His favor. It was utterly amazing what God did in their lives! No man can take any credit for everything that has happened! Now that they were able to secure their flight, the most exciting part is yet to come as you continue to read Sis Leriz’s story of faith. Matthew 21:22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”
