"God made a way for me to meet my wife."

“GOD MADE A WAY FOR ME TO MEET MY WIFE” (Part 1)

God is the author of life, and He cares about every single detail of your life. As you place Him first in your heart, He will lead the right person to you who shares the same passion and love for Him. At the right time, He will bring two people and their union will bring more glory to God as they pursue Him together in their lives. Pastor Jay R. Loredo believes in God’s plan in His life and God made a way for him to meet his wife.

Growing up, Pastor Jay had the desire to be a missionary as his father does. When he studied in Bible school, he met a lovely Kazakh lady who went to the Philippines to study theology. Their love blossomed as they got to know each other. They prayed for their relationship to progress if it is God’s will.

Then in April 2016, Pastor Jay’s girlfriend had to return to Kazakhstan after she graduated. They continued to keep in touch as they prayed and waited for God’s guidance. A few months later, Pastor Jay received a strong revelation from God that he should go to Kazakhstan. God used the people around him to affirm this revelation. His Korean friends encouraged him, “If it is God’s will, He will provide.”

In June, Pastor Jay applied to get his passport, and everything went smoothly. Then, he had to go to the Kazakhstan Embassy in South Korea. The following month, he needed to get a visa to Korea. His visa almost took two weeks to be processed and it was the first week of August when his Korean friends gave him a ticket. “Tomorrow, you’re going to Korea,” his friends told him as they handed the ticket to him. Pastor Jay was very much surprised, and he couldn’t believe how fast everything was happening. His passport is new, he already has a plane ticket to Korea and he couldn’t bid goodbyes to some people for it was all happening too quickly.

As Pastor Jay arrived in Korea, he started processing to get a Kazakh visa. He stayed in South Korea for a month and God provided everything for him through his friends. When he was scheduled for an interview at the embassy, he was told that the Embassy of Kazakhstan never serves Filipinos in South Korea to apply for a visa. Most of the applications are in Malaysia. When he asked why he was there, the Holy Spirit gave him wisdom on what to say. He told the consul that he doesn’t know anyone in Malaysia and that his friend told him there’s an embassy of Kazakhstan in South Korea. He also told the consul that he’s going to study and that he has a fiancé in Kazakhstan. Within five minutes, his visa was approved! “Welcome to Kazakhstan” the consul added.

It seemed surreal as things are happening so fast. Pastor Jay was so overwhelmed by the favor he just received, and he thanked the Lord for all the miracles he had seen for the past few months. It usually takes two weeks according to the embassy’s website when it comes to visa processing. But he got his approved visa only in minutes!

Truly, the Lord is moving on his behalf and during his one-month stay in Korea. God provided for his food and accommodation, and he got his visa so quickly! As Pastor Jay flies to Kazakhstan, he sees God’s faithfulness in his life and how He puts everything in place so he can fulfill the purpose God has in his life. It’s amazing how God orchestrates everything. He could open doors and make a path for those who are called according to His purpose! Praise the Lord Almighty!

Revelation 3:7-8

“To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write:

These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.
