FINDING PURPOSE IN THE BROKEN PLACES

Back home, my heart had always been soft for children, which is why I immersed myself in my local church’s Children’s Ministry. There, my days were filled with simple, humbling joys of sponsoring feeding programs and handing out free slippers to kids in impoverished areas.

For years, I had been comfortable serving this way.

STEPPING INTO THE UNKNOWN

When I first joined International Teams’ Access 2 training, my goal was simple. I merely desired to understand the work of a missionary and to discern God’s intended plan for my life.

Yet, with every session under Bishop JM Cayetano, a deeper message began to amplify in my heart. I began to understand not only what I was doing, but why I was walking this path. Little did I know, the greatest lesson wouldn’t come from a classroom lecture but from the raw, unfiltered reality awaiting me abroad.

A LIFE-CHANGING EXPERIENCE IN PATTAYA

Nothing could have fully prepared me for what I witnessed in Pattaya, Thailand. I was used to poverty, yes, but stepping into Pattaya’s Walking Street was an entirely different kind of shock.

The putrid smell of the place, the faces of prostitutes, and the overwhelming atmosphere of profound physical, moral, and spiritual decay dropped upon me like a heavy boulder. It was a very sad and haunting encounter. My heart cried out in sorrow.

In that dark moment, a compelling, intensely personal, and urgent realization came to me: Thailand desperately needs missionaries who will submit themselves, willingly leave their comfort zones, and commit fully to the Great Commission.

Paired with awe-inspiring testimonies from seasoned missionaries who shared their miraculous encounters with the Lord, my ministry perspective expanded far beyond local borders.

BREAKING FREE FROM FEAR

On our very last day of Access 2 training, the LORD brought me back to the ground. He gently revealed my own inner brokenness. He made me realize how much I had been drifting away because of fear and unforgiveness. It was a life-changing encounter.

This journey released me from my own safe cocoon of comfort and convenience. It taught me to embrace a simpler life, letting go of the need for comfort in exchange for true obedience.

Today, fear no longer has any grip on me because I know that my Redeemer lives. I am no longer captive to anything that hinders my obedience to His call. Thank you so much Bishop JM and Pastora Joyce Cayetano. You are not just a beautiful couple but you are highly favored and loved by GOD. May you continue to inspire others and lead them into life-changing journeys.

YOUR OWN JOURNEY STARTS HERE

My story reminds us that stepping out in faith is not about having all the answers. It is about being stepping out of our comfort zone, being willing to look into broken places, and overcoming the fears that keep us from fully pursuing God’s purpose for our lives.

Are you ready to step out of your comfort zone? Break free from your fear and discover the true purpose that God has written specially for you.
